Reeder & Vermaat and Aqua Quest Join Forces to Expand Northeast & Mid-Atlantic Representation
Two Trusted Teams. One Unified Reeder & Vermaat.
Reeder & Vermaat is growing.
Through the combination of Reeder & Vermaat and Aqua Quest, two experienced manufacturer representative organizations are coming together to create a stronger, broader sales organization serving the pool, spa and outdoor living industries across the Midwest, Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.
The expansion brings AquaQuest’s established Northeast and Mid-Atlantic team into the Reeder & Vermaat family, creating one company with expanded geographic reach, deeper industry expertise and an even greater ability to support manufacturers, distributors, dealers, builders, retailers and service professionals. Reeder & Vermaat’s new site now identifies the former Aqua Quest operation as its Northeast division under the unified Reeder & Vermaat brand
Two Companies Built on Relationships
While the Reeder & Vermaat name dates back to 1977, Aqua Quest has its own long history in the pool and spa industry.
Reeder & Vermaat was founded by Charlie Reeder and Bill Vermaat with a philosophy centered on integrity, expertise and strong relationships. Nearly five decades later, those values remain at the heart of the company and the way its team represents both manufacturers and customers.
Aqua Quest was founded in 1998 by Jim Gillick and built its reputation serving the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and New England markets. The company became known for its industry knowledge, commitment to manufacturers and customers, and relationship-first approach to manufacturer representation.
That shared philosophy is a big part of what makes the two organizations such a natural fit.
Both companies were built around the same basic belief: great manufacturer representation is about more than selling products. It is about understanding the market, knowing the people you serve and building partnerships that las
Expanding Our Reach Without Losing the Local Relationship
Bringing Reeder & Vermaat and Aqua Quest together significantly expands the organization’s geographic reach.
Reeder & Vermaat historically built its presence throughout the Midwest. With Aqua Quest joining the organization, the company now has dedicated representation serving the Midwest, Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, with regional teams that understand the customers, distributors and market conditions within their individual territories.
But getting bigger does not mean becoming less personal.
Customers will continue working with experienced regional representatives who know their businesses and their markets. The difference is that those representatives are now supported by the resources, product knowledge and collective experience of a larger organization.
What Does the Reeder & Vermaat and Aqua Quest Merger Mean for Customers?
For customers, much of what they already know and value stays exactly the same.
The relationships remain.
The experienced sales representatives remain.
The commitment to responsive, knowledgeable service remains.
What changes is the amount of support behind those relationships.
As one organization, Reeder & Vermaat can bring together the expertise of both teams, strengthen manufacturer partnerships, expand product opportunities and share resources across a much larger footprint.
For pool and spa professionals, that means access to a sales organization with broader industry knowledge and an extensive portfolio of products serving builders, OEMs, service professionals, retailers and the outdoor living market.
What Does It Mean for Our Manufacturer Partners?
The combination also creates new opportunities for the manufacturers Reeder & Vermaat represents.
Manufacturers benefit from an experienced sales organization with established relationships across multiple regions and a team capable of supporting products from the manufacturer level all the way through distribution and into the hands of pool and spa professionals.
That broader reach is paired with something equally important: local market knowledge.
Rather than approaching the Midwest, Northeast and Mid-Atlantic as one enormous territory, Reeder & Vermaat maintains dedicated regional representation so manufacturers have experienced people on the ground building relationships, providing training, supporting distributors and developing opportunities within each market.
The Aqua Quest Legacy Continues
Although Aqua Quest is becoming part of the Reeder & Vermaat brand, the history behind Aqua Quest is not disappearing.
It becomes part of the Reeder & Vermaat story.
The Northeast division continues with the experienced people, customer relationships and industry knowledge Aqua Quest spent decades building, now supported by the resources of the larger Reeder & Vermaat organization. As the company describes it, while the name is evolving, the experienced team, trusted relationships and commitment to service remain.
That continuity matters.
Because this expansion is not about replacing what made either organization successful. It is about bringing those strengths together.
One Company. Two Regions. A Bigger Future.
For nearly five decades, Reeder & Vermaat has grown by building strong relationships and representing manufacturers with integrity.
Aqua Quest built its business on many of those same principles.
Now, together, we have an opportunity to build on both legacies.
One Reeder & Vermaat. Two strong regional teams. Decades of combined industry experience. And one commitment to helping our manufacturers, distributors and customers grow.
We’re excited about what comes next.
